Jacob Cade is a nineteen year old American singer, songwriter, musician, and multi-instrumentalist, best known as lead singer and guitarist of the band Jacob Cade, a three piece band he formed in a mission to preserve the legacy of classic rock ‘n roll. Heavily influenced from musical greats such as Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Slash, Ace Frehley, Billy Gibbons and Jerry Lee Lewis, Cade revives a lost art of masterful musicianship and the natural ability to entertain a crowd. With Jacob’s electrifying guitar work and larger than life stage persona, live performances are a true “show”, leaving spectators wanting more. The nineteen year old is preparing to release his album called HUNGER (1st Quarter 2019) that he worked alongside with the famous rock producer, Michael Wagener and it includes co-writes with Lzzy Hale & Joe Hottinger of Halestorm, Paul Taylor of Winger and Rachel Bolan of Skid Row.
Playing guitar since the age of four years old, Jacob was able to pick up basic chords watching his father. This eventually led to teaching himself guitar along with violin, drums and most recently piano. Over the years, he has written dozens of original tunes and has performed at Parker Days Festival, Jefferson County Fair, Cervantes Ballroom, The Gothic Theater, Herman’s Hideaway, Denver Pride Fest, Make Music Denver, Stagecoach, Bushwacker’s, The Toad Tavern, Buffalo Rose, McCarthy’s, Will’s Sports Pub, Mercury Cafe, and The Tailgate Tavern along with plenty of talent shows and battle of the bands competitions. The natural progression of playing local shows to a national tour is in Jacobs near future. With plans to take on a Southwest regional tour this summer, Jacob intends to bring rock n roll back to the forefront of music.
Cade was born in El Paso, Texas and relocated to Parker, Colorado with his family when he was five years old. It wasn’t until he saw Jimmy Page in ‘The Song Remains the Same’ DVD, that Jacob became “hooked on music.” Today, while many high schoolers are planning which career they’d like to pursue, it’s no question that Jacob will continue on with music. “I can’t see myself doing anything else with my life. I feel that my calling is to bring rock n roll back to the forefront of music.” When asked why he’s chosen music as a career, “When I realized that it made my life seem more exciting and impactful, it all made sense to me more than anything else.”
In his free time, when not playing one of his instruments, Jacob is active in school sports, participating in soccer, track, football, basketball and weightlifting. He also likes to dance, play video games, ride dirt bikes, and enjoy time with his family.
