Pit Pass Details

Pit Passes for Rock Fest 2015 will go on sale in February 2105.

The Pit has been highly requested by Artists & Fans over the last few years. In 2014 Rock Fest removed existing concrete thrusts, and lowered the Grade in front of the stage and adding a Pit Pass. Pit Pass will be in addition to Concert Ticket. Of course, the amazing VIP view & seating experience is unaffected and did not change. The Pit Pass enhances the overall experience for Artists and Fans, and is available for a very reasonable price per show, or as a Weekend Pass in addition to a VIP, Reserved or General Admission Concert Ticket for those that choose to experience it. The Pit Experience is in front of the stage, in the area of the 3 Thrusts/Ramps you’re familiar with, which remained in place as well. The Pit operates during each Show of the weekend, with easy in & out access through the picture line. We ask, as we do of all Fans, to show respect for one another & Artists while in the Pit & to enjoy the Experience! Order information & Link: www.rock-fest.com/club-card

Q.  How do I Get a Pit Pass?

A.  If you already have VIP, Reserved or General Admission Tickets: Go to www.rock-fest.com/club-card and select which Artist(s) you would choose the Pit Experience for, or if you would like to purchase a Four-Day Weekend Pit Pass for all Artists. Check out as normal, as you do with your Concert Tickets and Camping. Print the Pit Pass and bring it with you to the Fest! If you have a Four-Day Pit Pass, you will turn it in at the VIP Booth to be scanned at the beginning of the weekend and will receive an armband. If you have individual Pit Passes for certain shows, you will bring your printed Pit Pass to the Entrance of the Photo Line at least 15 minutes prior to each show to be scanned. Please be patient upon entry/exit of the Pit.

If you still need to purchase VIP, Reserved or General Admission Tickets: Go to www.rock-fest.com/buy-tickets and select your tickets, camping if you need it, and then you will be able to choose your Pit Pass options and check out from there.

Q. I’m a VIP Ticket Holder. Will my VIP View be obstructed or changed?

A. VIP View will not be obstructed, altered or changed.  That is a top priority here at Rock Fest. The amazing view, picture-taking, and Artist interaction will be exactly as it has always been. The Pit will be dropped, so the grade will be lowered to accommodate the Pit.

Q. Will the Photo Line Change?

A. No change to the Photo Line. That will operate as normal as well.

Q. What will the view be in the Pit?

A. Pit Pass holders will be at a lowered Grade in the Pit, and will enjoy an up close view of the Stage and Artists. Not to mention, when Artists are out on the 3 Thrusts/Ramps, Pit Pass Holders will have an extreme “up close & personal” view. It will definitely be an experience. You may even get some high-fives from the Artists!

Q. How do we get in & out of the Pit?

A. Pit Pass holders will be asked to be at the front of the Photo Line entrance a minimum of 15 minutes prior to their purchased show with their Pit Pass printed Ticket in hand. Rock Fest Staff will scan and you will enter from that point. The Pit will be emptied immediately following each show.

Q. What can I bring into the Pit?

A. Pit Pass holders may bring themselves and a normal phone or small common camera. Standing room only. No Video of any kind. No professional Cameras are allowed in the Pit, with no exceptions. No drinks or food are allowed in the Pit. Please finish your drinks and throw container away before entering. No bags backpacks or chairs are allowed in the Pit. Small purses may be allowed, but will be searched prior to Entrance. Pit Pass Holders may be professionally searched by Security before gaining entrance into the pit if needed.

Q. What Happens in the Unlikely Event of Unacceptable Behavior?

A. We expect no issues with Rock Fest Fans! In the Event of moshing, inappropriate or unacceptable behavior in the Pit, the person or persons involved will be removed immediately and will lose the right to access the Pit for that show, and any other shows they have purchased Pit Passes for. There is zero tolerance of any misconduct in the Pit. No children 12 years or younger will be allowed in the Pit.

Q. What if the Lineup Should Change?

A. As we know for any Concert, a Lineup change can occur at any time with no advance notice. Rock Fest is the same. The same policy applies to Pit Passes, as it does for all Concert and Camping Tickets. No refunds or exchanges. Pit Pass Holders purchase a Pit Pass for a date and time slot. In the Event of a Lineup change, the Pit Pass will still be good for the particular date and time slot.

Q. Where are Emergency Exits?

A. Emergency Exits are at the North and South ends of the Pit.
